Getting married on a Friday in Israel? Here's the full bridal morning timeline — when to start hair & makeup, how long it takes, and when the photographers arrive.

A Friday wedding is an Israeli classic — but it needs careful timeline planning, since everything happens in the afternoon and the window is tight. Here's how to build a calm morning that ends with a bride who's ready on time.

How long do hair & makeup take?

For the bride, hair and makeup together take about 2 to 2.5 hours. If mothers, bridesmaids or family members also need makeup, add roughly 30–45 minutes each — or bring a team so everyone is done in parallel.

Rule of thumb: always build in a 30-minute safety buffer. Better to be ready early and relax than to rush at the last minute.

When do the photographers arrive?

Most photographers like to arrive 45–60 minutes before the bride finishes, to capture the final touches of hair and makeup, getting into the dress, and the emotional moments. Coordinate in advance so they arrive when the look is almost complete — that's when the best photos happen.

On-location service across Israel

I come to you — home, hotel or venue — so you don't need to travel mid-morning. For summer weddings I recommend on-site touch-ups before the ceremony, so you look flawless late into the night.
